The Clearwater Aquarium

Experience a different kind of aquarium at the Clearwater Aquarium. The mission of this aquarium is to rescue marine animals and work to rehabilitate and release them back into their natural habitats if possible. There are permanent residents at the Clearwater Aquarium that cannot live in the wild any longer. Still, the aquarium does maintain an active animal hospital for the animals that can go back to their habitats. The exhibits of the aquarium are both indoors and outdoors. Only minutes from Clearwater Beach, it's an eye-opening look into how scientists are working to protect marine animals.
